If you work on a boat or are a passionate football follower then Air Horn could be just the app for you.

This simple app imitates the sound of an air horn when you tap on the image of the horn on the screen. Shake your iPhone and it will emit a more prolonged screech, until you stop moving it. Annoyingly, it's not that easy to make 'tunes' using Air Horn because it's not possible to change the pitch of the horn, an effect that you can produce on many real life horns.

Neverthless, the sound produced by Air Horn is very authentic and if you have the volume on your phone ramped up to maximum then you'll certainly attract plenty of attention.

Whether everyone else thinks it's as amusing as you do though, is an entirely different matter.
